On February 17th 2025 HTVFC was requested to respond to 535 CR 627 for a tree that fell taking out primary wires and was on fire. The fire was a result of the power lines on the ground in the area of a newer underground gas line causing a gas fed fire. The gas and electric company were requested to respond. Units stood by until the utilities were secured. The road remained closed for several hours.
DAMAGE: NO INJURIES REPORTED
Fortunately, there were no reported injuries to any civilians or firefighters during the incident.
